Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----

Many think of repentance as a punishment, or as a practice only connected to a particular denomination. No! It's God's Gift, as was the blood of Yeshua/Jesus.

It's a process, perhaps the first step of which is that God birthed you and me with a conscience.

Then the next step is that the Holy Spirit now moves on this planet as a Teacher. This Holy Spirit is not only the Comforter but is also the patient Convicter of our old sin patterns.

At some point, as a disciple of the Risen Christ follows Luke 24:47 and preaches repentance, one learns of the gift of repentance and remission of sins. The good news of that leads a person to consider repentance. Romans 2:4 says: " Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads us to repentance?"

The next step is vital: under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, using one's free will, a personal decision is made; that decision then leads to a true change of mind. In Greek it's called a "metanoia." You and I change our thinking.  And then, renouncing our sin, we turn 180 degrees, about face, from the world and the flesh, to the Living God, humbly asking forgiveness, submitting to the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. In that Way we enter His Kingdom. (Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:15).  It is a narrow path. Jesus said: " Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."  (Matthew 7: 13-14).

The next step is also vital: the change of mind leads to a change of conduct, a change of purpose and action. As you and I follow His Word, listening and then obeying the Holy Spirit's correction and guidance, we begin to remove old sin patterns. We become more of a clean vessel of His Holy Spirit, more holy as He is holy. We are called to bear fruit [of the Holy Spirit] worthy of repentance.( Matthew 3:8). The Holy Spirit speaking through Paul, speaking to the Corinthians, and to you and me today, in 2 Corinthians 7: 1 says: " Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

Repentance also includes the gift of finding your unique calling to advance His Kingdom.

Jesus' words to His first disciples also apply to you and me, once we're in His Kingdom: " You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another." (John 15: 16-17).

Repentance then ultimately proceeds to a deep, reverential JOY, and precious love for Him that will grow and grow, and which is a powerful witness to all others. In this, Jesus' words are fresh and personal to all who have sincerely repented: "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." (John 15:11).

Question: are you at the JOY stage yet? Take time with the Holy Spirit and He will guide you. Today is the day to get there !

Question: do you consider repentance vital in these times? There are 13 people who support this ministry with a regular donation each month. Our goal this month of July is to double that number to 26. We are still at 13 with 2 days remaining. Will you join them today? Donations go to supporting shepherds in churches that are preaching repentance. There are no staff salaries. Funds go also to our one volunteer, Susan Hammer, who receives no salary.  The goal is to raise $ 1,500 each month for her support.

God bless you,

The Lord makes it clear: Luke 13:1-5, repent or perish. Here's the NDR video on this key scripture:  https://youtu.be/oT15XrDvv9c

Are you called to bring His Flame of repentance to your city or state or nation? The LORD lit the flame among youth in Africa, and it's now burning among youth in several nations, but He wishes it to spread all over His Planet. We'll join you to pray for His Wisdom to make it happen where He's planted you--in your town, your city, your State, your nation, for such a time as this (Acts 17:26). Repentance is His Gift, not a punishment. Following His Word, the Lord will heal IF we collectively repent. We'll help you organize the teaching, following our OUT/Youth Arise trainings in Africa!
