Sterling's Team Speed
May Athlete of the Month:
Hadley is currently a 6th grader at Heritage Elementary School and she absolutely loves math. Hadley also plays competitive soccer year-round for her club team, Real Colorado 05 DA Girls. It's a full time commitment, involving lots of practices, games, travel, and tournaments, but she loves it and aspires to play in college at the University of North Carolina or UCLA.
Outside of soccer, Hadley is also a very talented basketball player and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, listening to music, and traveling in her free time. When we asked her what she wants to do when she grows up she said, "I want to become a professional soccer player or be a doctor".
We also asked her what she likes most about training with Coach Matt here at Sterling's Team Speed and she explained, "
I love going to Team Speed before school because it gets my day started the right way so I can focus on everything I have to do the rest of the day. Matt makes the work challenging and fun at the same time and helped me to come back strong after an injury at the end of last season
When we asked Hadley how Sterling's Team Speed has made a difference in her training, she said, "
Training with Matt has made me stronger and faster, which is important because I am one of the younger players on my team. Training in the off season and during the season helps me to gain strength and speed all year long. Team Speed challenges me to try and do things I didn’t know I could do which helps me do the same thing on the field."
Thanks for sharing, Hadley! Keep up the hard work!
