If you're like me, you simply love great violin playing, and for me, Randall Goosby’s sound is
perfect
.
Maybe it’s all the years he spent in Itzhak Perlman’s violin class at Juilliard, filling his ears with that great master’s exquisite tone. Maybe it’s the Guarneri del Jesu violin he plays, on loan from the Stradivari Society. Maybe it’s the decade of accumulated musical wisdom since he first played on a Young People’s Concert at the New York Philharmonic, a track record that also includes the Cleveland Orchestra and about a dozen other smaller orchestras across the country. Or maybe it's just plain genius.
Whatever it is, at just 23 years old, Randall Goosby from Memphis, Tennessee is a fully seasoned artist, already embarking on an impressive career as a soloist, chamber musician, and artistic leader for his generation.
