Happy New Year from all of us at Steward Partners. As we look back on 2017, we are delighted to report that the firm set records in new partners, recruiting and year-over-year growth. Over the course of the year, we welcomed 30 new wealth managers, opened four new branch offices and received positive attention from the financial industry media. As a result, we are now seeing increased interest in the Steward Partners opportunity across multiple regions. Our existing branches are filling up fast, and new locations are on the horizon for 2018. We have already mapped out the first quarter of the year with new commits and expansion plans, and the second quarter promises to be just as active.
Steward Partners continues to focus on one key principle, attract great people who happen to run a great business. Our partners have a voice in the direction and strategy of the company, which in turn allows them to focus on serving the best interests of their clients and their communities. With the new year in front of us, we are grateful for all that our partners have accomplished, and together we look forward to another remarkable and successful year.
