UPE is kicking off a new year of Steward Training, and we are hoping you will join us! Stewards play a critical role in helping to represent members in the workplace and holding management accountable for their actions.
Steward training is a great way to learn more about your workplace rights and to get more involved with your Union.
To become a Steward, you must complete Steward's Training I and II and then be appointed by your governing board.
The next Steward Training I will be held on January 18. To RSVP, please click on the button below. Trainings are held at the UPE office from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month. If you cannot attend the training in January, the next Steward Training I will be held in August.
