STEWARDSHIP NOTES.10.21.20
Together, generations both past and present (and hopefully to come!) have worked diligently and prayed faithfully to build the beloved community, to make God’s dream a reality here in Nyack and beyond.

Hand in hand, heart to heart, members of this parish family have given of themselves so that others could have, and emptied themselves so that others could be made full. Indeed, we have striven to be Christ’s presence, a beacon of light, hope, and a haven of welcome for all. I give God thanks for those of you who have answered the call to serve, give, love, heal, reconcile, liberate, and build for God’s kingdom in and through Grace Church, our parish home.

May God continue to guide, sustain, and abide in this place and in our hearts. Grace is the place!

What is a Pledge?

A pledge is a promise – a promise to give a certain amount over the course of the following year. Your financial pledge before the end of the calendar year allows our vestry to create an annual budget and to plan wisely for the short and longer term. Your pledge lets leadership know the amount of predictable funds available to support our programs, staffing, ministry, and growth.

Every pledge matters, no what the size. We don’t expect you to fulfill your pledge in one lump gift. Many find they can give more when pledging and then giving incrementally over the course of the year. Your pledge amount may be changed, increased or decreased during the year, at any time as your financial circumstances change.

We hope that Grace is making a difference in your life. We know that Grace is making a difference in our community and in the larger world.

We invite you to prayerfully consider what God is doing in your life. Prayerfully consider what Grace means to you and your family, and to the community.

Prayerfully consider what God has done in providing for your “goods and kindred,” and what you will return to God through your pledge, and through your active participation in parish life.
