Is Your Company a Pool or a Stream?

by Tim Fulton

The following article was shared with me by Vistage speaker Dr. Balaji Krishnamurphy. It is a masterpiece on organizational culture. In a world of a “Great Resignation” and a pending economic recession, managing a strong company culture is quite necessary. Inherent in that strategy is to be very intentional about what type of culture you want your company to be recognized for both internally and externally. Is your company a “pool or a stream”?

After a four-year stint with Think Shift, Alexis Sparks left us last month to join Adidas as their Talent Partner Manager. Keeley Hammond left a couple of months back after a six-year tenure. Is Think Shift imploding? Is everybody leaving? Rest assured: this is not the case. In fact, this article is a celebration of the last two original LogiStyle employees to swim down the stream.

The Future Leader by Jacob Morgan
Will the leader of the next decade be much different from the leader of today? If so, how different? These are the two questions that author Jacob Morgan sought to answer in his new book The Future Leader.

In order to answer these two questions, the author interviewed over 140 CEOs around the world from companies such as Audi, Mastercard, Oracle, Best Buy, and many others. He also teamed up with LinkedIn to survey almost 14,000 business leaders around the world. This resulted in a highly accurate, global picture of leadership today and in the future.

More than 3,000 small business leaders have participated in this training nationwide. Our next program begins on August 25, 2022, with five full days of executive development on the following Thursdays:

Topics of discussion include:
  • Strategic Planning
  • Leadership
  • Marketing
  • Financial Management
  • Organizational Design

Can’t commit to consecutive classes? No worries, each monthly unit/class is standalone. Attend any missed classes during the next program series, or elect to have someone within your organization attend the unit that relates to their areas of expertise.

Here’s what past Boot Camp graduates had to say:
