Historical Highlights

A memorable and iconic component of World Dairy Expo is the annual theme and Showring display. Each year, anticipation builds as WDE approaches with the golden question, "What color will the shavings be?" 2012 brought a bountiful harvest with the theme "Market Fresh" which highlighted a cornucopia, dairy products, and Expo decorating staples: pumpkins and mums.

RF Goldwyn Hailey EX-97 rose to the top as Supreme Champion at WDE in 2012, which led to her earning her first Triple Crown - World Dairy Expo, QC Fall International Show, and The Royal - all within five weeks. Hailey returned to the colored shavings in 2014 where she earned Grand Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion honors.
