TESTIMONIAL

"Teresa was friendly, interested, and very helpful. She found several workable choices to help meet our needs. And, she did it quickly and with great follow up. I felt it would almost be too difficult to find the right place - financially, and to meet the needs of my sometimes challenging mother-in-law. But, Teresa found great choices. Belle is now in good hands and we know her needs are being met."

Did you know. . .

Who Was St. Patrick?

St. Patrick was a Christian missionary, bishop and a patron saint of Ireland. He was born in Roman Britain near the end of the fourth century. At age 16, he was captured by Irish raiders and brought to Ireland, where he spent six years in captivity as a shepherd. He became a devout Christian and, it's believed, began to dream of converting the Irish to Christianity. A voice - God's - spoke to him in a dream telling him to leave Ireland.

After reaching England, Patrick described having a second dream, an angel told him to go back to Ireland as a missionary to convert the Irish to Christianity. He died in A.D. 461 on March 17, which became St. Patrick's Day.

Why not take an opportunity to celebrate? The older I get, the faster time flies. So, let's not waste it! Happy St. Patrick's month! Here are some creative ways to help seniors celebrate. Also, this is national nutrition month and it's always good to take inventory on our health habits. This article is FILLED with great information to recap whether or not we are optimizing our health through nutrition. Finally, driving is a subject that requires pro-active consideration. Certainly we need to consider at what point seniors need support to drive safely. And, there are times when the safety of the Senior as well as others on the road and street have to be prioritized. Below is an article to keep the subject top of mind. So...don't forget to wear GREEN on Sunday, or you might just get pinched!! Unless of course, you WANT to get pinched!

When Driving Isn't Safe
How To Navigate The Conversation

Prince Philip, who's 97, was recently involved in a car crash that injured two women and prompted a debate on older drivers in Britain. Two days after the accident, he was photographed driving a Land Rover and not wearing a seat belt. Of course, that reignited a debate about seniors and driving.
