You Can Support Families in Need!

Family Promise of Morris County is dedicated to providing safe environments for guest families, volunteers and staff.

We are open and continue to serve our community remotely through all of our programs to ensure families are safe and have access to resources, including 24/7 on-call Licensed Social Work staff and case management.
Our Emergency Shelter Program continues to shelter our guests by providing alternate safe housing, food and case management, along with tele-support and no-contact delivery of essential items for all the families in our programs.

In working hard to obtain the financial resources needed to continue sheltering and housing our families, we are holding an Emergency Relief Fundraiser.
Our goal is to place guests in temporary shelter and/or permanent housing as soon as possible to protect our vulnerable families experiencing homelessness during a global pandemic and to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community. We are uniquely poised to complete this task with continued support.
Please consider donating and sharing our Emergency Relief Fundraiser  information via email, text and social media with peers, family, friends - everyone and anyone. Here is the link:

We pride ourselves in being responsive to our community and taking the lead in community outreach efforts.

Making sure our neighbors in need have shelter and resources is and always will be our first priority.
Continuing to Move Ahead!

Amidst these recently challenging times, one of our emergency shelter families has graduated from Family Promise and has moved into their own home!

After persevering through many struggles, Annette and her children are even more grateful during this uncertain time to have a safe place of their own.

Thank you for your support in making this life-changing event possible for Annette and her family!
Message of Hope & Inspiration!

In February, almost 300 Chatham Girl Scouts were captivated by Anaija, our newest and youngest spokesperson for Family Promise. Anaija and her family are graduates of the shelter program and have been sharing their story with others.

According to several of the Girl Scouts, Anaija's message - "just be nice to everyone because you never know what they are going through" - was received loud and clear and has been an inspiration to many of the attendees.

Thank you, Anaija, for your time with the Girls Scouts! We are so proud of you!
Every Nation Church Lends Many Hands!

Thank you to all the folks who came out last month from Every Nation Church, Morris Plains, to dedicate their service day to Family Promise and our guests! Our day center received a deep cleaning as well as an outdoor cleanup, in addition to cleaning and organizing our drop-in center, Our Promise. There were also several painters on hand to do some painting at a guest's new apartment!

We appreciate all the hard work and time devoted to caring for the individuals and families in our programs! We look forward to growing our partnership with Every Nation and to serving together again!
