This week, we share several reflections connected to a theme of "noticing" or "paying attention." In our lives that have so many distractions pulling at us, it is easy to miss what is happening and how the Spirit is moving. In addition to those reflections are another prayerful poem from Rev. A beautiful reflection on the spiritual practice of "savoring" (aka paying attention, noticing, etc). Lindsay defines "savoring" as "the practice of slowing down to notice and be present to beauty and goodness."

Arianne shares from her own experience as well as from "the patron saint of paying attention", the poet Mary Oliver. And she comes to two questions... What has my attention? What needs my attention?

I have been trying to intentionally pay attention to specific colors each week in my photography. There was something about noticing the color brown this week that stirred deeply for me.
