So here we are in June, still wearing masks, still trying to keep social distance, still standing for social justice and equality.
I remain grateful for a backyard full of blooms and birds, areas to walk or ride my bike in, AND my studio, which gets morning sunshine and is filled with my sketches, paintings, pastels, papers, photos, and work of other artists that I admire. My cat sits under the easels or on the window sill in the sun, and I am content.
Now back to work.
Art brings people joy, and the world needs more of both right now.
