  • Spirit Week: Crazy Hat, Hair or Sock Day! (Wear crazy socks, a crazy hat, or make your hair crazy! Do one, two, or all three!)

Wednesday, February 12:
  • Spirit Week: Backwards Day! (Wear something backwards.)
  • Box Tops Due

Thursday, February 13:

Friday, February 14: NO SCHOOL (Mid-Winter Break)
Pizza Night Fundraiser is Wednesday from 4 to 10 pm

Join us this Wednesday as locally-owned family restaurant John the Baker hosts a fundraiser to support Stillmeadow Elementary School. 

John the Baker will donate a portion of all dine-in, take-out and delivery orders placed between 4 and 10 pm to Stillmeadow. 

You must present this flyer or mention Stillmeadow when you place your order.

John the Baker is located at 30 Long Ridge Road at the corner of Cold Spring.

This is an easy and delicious way to support Stillmeadow!

Start collecting pennies and other loose change to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients Campaign!
 
Pennies for Patients Collection Boxes will be sent home in student backpacks this week. Fill up the box and return it to school by February 28.

Get ready for Spirit Week at Stillmeadow!

During the four days leading up to the mid-winter break, students are invited to show their school spirit by participating in themed dress up days. See calendar at the top of the newsletter for each day's theme.

The Stillmeadow Kids Heart Challenge event is this week during physical education classes.

Public Hearing Regarding Board of Education Budget: Thursday at 7 pm

Learn about the Board of Education’s proposed 2020-2021 Operating Budget at a public hearing this Thursday, February 6 at 7:00 pm at Rogers International School. Childcare for ages 4 and up and interpreters will be available.

Stillmeadow teachers use DonorsChoose to fund classroom supplies and projects. Mrs. Vieux (Kindergarten), Mrs. Sikorski (Grade 1) and Ms. DeCarlo (Grade 3) currently have projects listed on DonorsChoose .

Please Complete the Stillmeadow Title 1 Survey

Mrs. Asaro is asking parents to complete the Stillmeadow Title 1 Parent Information Survey .

Your feedback will be used to create informational workshops on topics of interest to parents, including how to interpret report card data, how to help children with homework, and understanding grade-level academic expectations.

Questions about the survey should be directed to Title 1 Reading Teacher, Jennifer Grant .
