Stillmeadow Town Hall Webinar is Thursday at 7 pm

Principal Asaro is hosting a Stillmeadow Town Hall Webinar for parents and families on Thursday, September 3 at 7 pm. During this webinar, Principal Asaro will share information about Stillmeadow's reopening and answer your questions.

Prior to the webinar, you will receive a document with answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Stillmeadow's Reopening. Please review this document before the webinar.

Also, please refer to the Stamford Public Schools Frequently Asked Questions page for answers to many questions about the District's reopening plans.
Create or Update Your PowerSchool Account

You must have a PowerSchool account to access important information including classroom teacher assignments, bus assignments, report cards, etc. This information will not be distributed in paper form this year.

Please take time now to make sure you can access your PowerSchool account.

If you are creating a new PowerSchool account, you will need an Access ID. Please contact Shirley Martinez or Cindy Guarnieri in the Stillmeadow Main Office (203-977-4507) to obtain an Access ID.
Hybrid Learning School Calendar

Your child's Hybrid Learning group assignment (Blue Group or Green Group) was communicated via a school messenger phone call on Thursday afternoon and also is available to view in PowerSchool.

Students in the Hybrid Model will attend school in person every other day based on their group assignment. Please print and post the Hybrid Learning Calendar so you know which days your child will attend school in person.
Prepare Students for In-School Safety Measures

Principal Asaro is asking families to help their children prepare for new in-school safety measures that will be in effect when school opens on September 8. Following are a few things you can do at home before school begins:

Have Your Child Practice Wearing a Face Mask During the Day: Students will be expected to wear a face mask at school. Although mask breaks will be provided throughout the school day, many children may not be used to wearing a mask for extended periods of time.

Practice Hand Washing with Younger Children: Frequent hand washing is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please work with your children – especially those in grades K-2 – to make sure they know how to wash their hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.

Reinforce the Importance of Social Distancing: A new school year is an exciting time when children will have the urge to physically interact (hugs, high fives, etc.) with their teachers and peers. Please talk to your child about the importance of maintaining social distance.
CT Travel Advisory & Self-Quarantine Requirements

Stamford Public Schools requires all staff, students, and families to follow the self-quarantine requirements included in
Governor Lamont’s Travel Advisory Executive Orders.

Pursuant to Governor Lamont's Executive Order No. 7III, anyone traveling into Connecticut from a state with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents, or higher than a 10% test positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average, is directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact with that state.
