Halloween Hop Photos Wanted

Thanks to the more than 450 people who turned out on Friday night for Halloween Hop. We hope everyone had a great time!

A special thanks to Mrs. Asaro, Mr. Bilik, Mrs. Exias, Ms. Fano, Ms. Franceschi, Mrs. Garzancich, Mrs. Hoch, Mrs. Mackey, Mrs. Papastathis, Mrs. Watson and Mr. Zaremski for volunteering their time to support this event. Thanks also to all of the parent volunteers who helped with games and supplied baked goods.

Please send us your photos from Halloween Hop.

Photos will be displayed on the video monitor in the main lobby and may also appear in the 2019-20 Yearbook. Please be sure to include your child's name and grade in the email.

Box Tops Due Wednesday, October 30

Support Stillmeadow by sending in the Box Tops you have clipped and saved during the last few months.

Send in your Box Tops using the Fall Collection Sheet.
Please check the expiration date and submit only current Box Tops.
If you have extra Box Tops, put them in a plastic baggie and attach the baggie to the collection sheet.

Halloween Parade

Stillmeadow's annual Halloween Parade is Thursday, October 31 at 1:15 pm. Families are welcome to attend this event, which takes place rain or shine.

Please park only in designated spaces behind the school or at the church. Do not park in the fire lanes along the side and front of the school building.

Reading Assessment Workshop for K-2 Parents is Friday, November 1

Parents in K-2 are encouraged to attend the Reading Assessment Workshop on Friday at 8:15 am in the media center. During the workshop, Stillmeadow Reading Specialist Jennifer Grant will work with parents to interpret and use information from the DIBELS 8 assessment to help their children become better readers.

A similar workshop for parents in Grades 3-5 will take place in mid-November.

Jeans for Troops Day: November 6

Stillmeadow is participating in the GI GO Fund's Jeans for Troops Day on Wednesday, November 6.

Teachers, students and staff are encouraged to participate in this national "dress down day" to raise money for our nation's veterans. Participants are asked to bring in a donation of $5 or more and to wear jeans to school on November 6.

Stamford Public Schools Community Open House: November 7

Parents with children entering kindergarten, sixth grade or ninth grade in Fall 2020 are encouraged to participate in Stamford Public Schools Community Open House on Thursday, November 7.

Elementary presentations and tours take place at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Middle and high school presentations and tours take place at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
