After School Enrichment Registration Closes Tomorrow!
Time is running out to sign up for the many after-school enrichment activities taking place at Stillmeadow this winter. The new schedule
offers something for every grade level and interest for less than $27 per week per class.
- Registration deadline is TOMORROW, December 17 at 5 pm.
- Enrollment is low for some classes. Classes will be cancelled if we cannot meet minimum enrollment requirements. Please register ASAP!
- Scholarships are available for qualifying students. Call Flex Academies to have your child considered for a need-based scholarship.
- Refer to the website for detailed class descriptions, registration tips, and answers to frequently asked questions (refund policy, scholarships, weather-related cancellations, etc.)

2018 Holiday Fair Success!
A Giant Thank You to Dory Hayes and Theresa Baker for putting together such a great Holiday Fair this year.
Thank you also to all the helpers who donated gifts, packaged gifts, decorated, set up, checked out, cleaned up and more.
The Holiday Fair brought many smiles to kids' faces, and gave them the chance to give something nice to loved ones this holiday season. They also got a little extra math practice adding up their purchases! None of this would be possible without all our fantastic parent volunteers.

Winter Concert Schedule
Stillmeadow's fourth grade chorus and fifth grade band are gearing up for their Winter Concerts this week.
Here is the schedule:
- Wednesday, December 19, at 9 am for grades K-2
- Thursday, December 20, at 9 am for grades 3-5
- Thursday, December 20, at 7 pm for friends and family
Musicians should report to the cafeteria 30 minutes before each performance for tuning and staging.

The Chipotle Restaurant on the Post Road in Riverside is hosting a fundraiser for Stillmeadow on
Monday, January 7th from 4 to 8 pm.
To participate, simply present

Hour of Code - Coming in January
Stillmeadow students will participate in the Hour of Code throughout the month of January.
They will be joining millions of students in receiving this one-hour tutorial in computer science and computer programming as part of a global movement by the Computer Science Education Week and Code.org.
After the introduction in the media center, children will participate in followup activities in their classrooms. The goal is to inspire students to continue to be interested in learning more about coding and computer science beyond the Hour of Code.
The school is looking for volunteers for this program. If you have some experience with coding (or even if you don't and still want to help out) please contact Jodi Flom Nathanson at

Stillmeadow Family Day at the Sound Tigers is Sunday, February 10
Save the date and join us for a fun afternoon of AHL Hockey when the Bridgeport Sound Tigers take on the Utica Comets on Sunday, February 10 at 3 pm.
Tickets for our annual
Stillmeadow Family Day
will go on sale after the holiday break. Tickets are $20 each. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit Stillmeadow.
