The Chipotle Restaurant on the Post Road in Riverside is hosting a fundraiser for Stillmeadow on  Monday, January 7th from 4 to 8 pm. 

To participate, simply present  this flyer  when you order, and Chipotle will donate 33% of your total purchase to our school!

Chipotle is located at 1233 E Putnam Ave in Riverside in the Riverside Commons shopping plaza, off exit 5 on I-95. Chipotle offers a variety of burritos, tacos and salads, including a kid's menu as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options. Check out the Chipotle menu  here .

Hour of Code - Coming in January

Stillmeadow students will participate in the Hour of Code throughout the month of January.  They will be joining millions of students in receiving this one-hour tutorial in computer science and computer programming as part of a global movement by the Computer Science Education Week and Code.org.

After the introduction in the media center, children will participate in followup activities in their classrooms. The goal is to inspire students to continue to be interested in learning more about coding and computer science beyond the Hour of Code.

The school is looking for volunteers for this program. If you have some experience with coding (or even if you don't and still want to help out) please contact Jodi Flom Nathanson at  [email protected] .
Stillmeadow Daisy Troop Meeting

We’re excited to offer Girl Scouts at Stillmeadow! Daisy troop 50946 is currently open to Kindergarten and 1st Grade   girls.

Beginning in January, we will meet one Friday a month following school dismissal.

For more information on the program and how to get involved, please join us Friday, January 11th at 2:45 pm in Room 155.

We also encourage you to register yourself or another parent/guardian as a troop helper so you can attend meetings and assist the co-leaders at various events - click here

Stillmeadow Family Day at the Sound Tigers is Sunday, February 10
 
Save the date and join us for a fun afternoon of AHL Hockey when the Bridgeport Sound Tigers take on the Utica Comets on Sunday, February 10 at 3 pm.

Tickets for our annual Stillmeadow Family Day will go on sale after the holiday break. Tickets are $20 each. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit Stillmeadow.
