Support Stillmeadow: Dine at Chipotle on Monday, January 7

The Chipotle Restaurant on the Post Road in Riverside is hosting a fundraiser for Stillmeadow on  Monday, January 7th from 4 to 8 pm. 

To participate, simply present  this flyer  when you order, and Chipotle will donate 33% of your total purchase to our school!

Chipotle is located at 1233 East Putnam Avenue in the Riverside Commons shopping plaza, right off I-95 Exit 5. 

Chipotle offers a variety of burritos, tacos and salads, including a kid's menu as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options. Check out the Chipotle menu  here .

Photos Needed for 2018-19 Yearbook!

The Stillmeadow Yearbook Committee is currently accepting photos from the following events:

  • Citizenship Awards
  • Winter Concert
  • Thanksgiving and Holiday parties
  • Third Grade Hero Museum project

Please send your full resolution photos to  [email protected]  with the subject "Yearbook Photos". Please include student name(s), grade(s) and teacher(s) if possible.
Spirit Wear Store is Online!

Be prepared for upcoming Stillmeadow Spirit Days! Stillmeadow now has an online spirit store featuring youth and adult apparel, as well as drinkware, keychains and magnets. Browse and purchase from home or on your phone.

Selections shown represent inventory that is currently in stock. Items ordered will be delivered to classrooms – please make sure to note your student’s name and classroom teacher in the ’Notes’ section when you checkout to ensure we know where to deliver the items.

After School Enrichment Winter Session Begins This Week

The After School Enrichment Winter Session kicks off this week.

You must inform your child's teacher in writing of the days your child will be staying after school for an enrichment class.  

Dismissal from enrichment classes is at 3:50 pm outside the assigned classroom (see chart at right). Doors will open at 3:45 pm to allow you to be there on time.

Students MUST be signed out by a parent or other approved individual.

ROSCCO students will be transitioned to the aftercare location by Mrs. Roata and signed out to ROSCCO staff.

Stillmeadow's Pennies for Patients Campaign Begins January 14

Start collecting pennies and other loose change to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients Campaign!

Special collection boxes and other program materials will go home in student backpacks this week. Students can fill up the box with loose change from family and friends and return it to their classroom any time between January 14 and February 1.

This is the ninth year that Stillmeadow is participating in this program. Remember, every penny, nickel, dime, quarter or dollar donated will help save a life.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. 
Stillmeadow Daisy Troop Meeting

We’re excited to offer Girl Scouts at Stillmeadow! Daisy Troop 50946 is currently open to Kindergarten and 1st Grade girls.

This new Daisy Troop will meet one Friday a month following school dismissal.

For more information on the program and how to get involved, please join us on Friday, January 11th at 2:45 pm in Room 155.

We also encourage you to register yourself or another parent/guardian as a troop helper so you can attend meetings and assist the co-leaders at various events - click here

Stillmeadow Family Day at the Sound Tigers is Sunday, February 10
 
Bring the whole family for an afternoon of live American Hockey League action as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers take on the Utica Comets at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport on Sunday, February 10 at 3 pm. 

Tickets for the annual Stillmeadow Family Day go on sale this week for $20 each (regularly $31 at the Box Office). A portion of each ticket purchased will benefit Stillmeadow.

Look for a flyer in student backpacks or downloa d it here . Complete and return the form with payment to school by Friday, February 1.
