This Sunday, January 5th begins our regularly scheduled practices for the new season. We will also be handing out uniforms to all players at this practice.
12:30-2:30pm @ Blackford - 12 Blue, 12 Black, 13 Blue
2:30-5pm @ Blackford - 13 Black, 14 Blue, 14 Black
5-7:30pm @ Blackford - 15 Black, 16 Black, 17 Black
*PSA for 12 Blue and 12 Black @ 2:30-3;30pm
The practice schedules have now been updated on the website calendar. If you would like to view the calendar for your team only, just click on the arrow on the top right hand side of the calendar and select your team. If you are having problems accessing the website calendar, please email jason@stingrayvbc.com and he will be able to help you.
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to add new gym facilities this year. Stingray has donated equipment to the Harker School to add a brand new volleyball court to the gym located on their pre-school campus on Union Avenue. In addition, we are currently working on turning the room adjacent to the gym into a video room / parent lounge. If you have any couches, chairs, tables, flat-screen televisions, or refrigerators you would like to donate to help us create our volleyball ultra-lounge, please contact Vonda with details.
We will be using the following gyms for practices this season:
Harker Blackford Gym located at 3800 Blackford Avenue, San Jose 95117
Harker Saratoga Gym located at 500 Saratoga Avenue, San Jose 95129
The gym is located in the Administration Building at the front of the campus.
Harker Union Gym located at 4525 Union Avenue, San Jose 95124 - NEW
Since this is a pre-school, we are not allowed in the gym until after 6pm, so please do not drop players off early. The gym is located at the back of the campus. Please drive down the access road on the left side of the campus to the gym. We will not be allowed to walk through the pre-school classroom buildings since that area of the campus will be alarmed. Parking is located on the black top next to the gym.
Campbell Middle School located at 295 Cherry Lane, Campbell 95008
The gym is located at the back of the school.
The location of each practice is also indicated on the website calendar. Please make sure to check the calendar before going to each practice to make sure that you are going to the right gym.
All PSA sessions will be in the wrestling room at Blackford as usual.
