Rotary Met Virtually
In our meeting last week, we welcomed
Darlene Drew. She is a Certified Leadership Trainer, Speaker & Executive Coach with the John Maxwell Team. A public servant in law enforcement for over 32 years.
Darlene served as Warden of three different federal prisons over an eleven-year period. To date, she is the first and only female to serve as Warden at the United States Penitentiary, Atlanta. Darlene is a member of the Rotary Club of Peachtree City and serves on the Board of Georgia Laws of Life.
Darlene spoke to us about effective leadership and led it by walking us through a presentation she called "What My Dad & Family Taught Me About Leadership."
We will continue to meet virtually until further notice. Our decision to resume in-person meetings will be based on the COVID-19 status in our area, CDC guidelines, and directions from our club members.
