Greetings and welcome to this April edition of The Advisor Newsletter!

In this podcast episode, I sit down with the owners of Groom Services LLC in Omaha, NE.
This family operation started in 2019, and opened officially to the public with their mobile shop in 2020. Two days later, COVID forced them to close. Daniel, Nelson and Danielle didn't use that as an excuse to give up on their dream.
Today, Groom Services travels around Omaha and provides an amazing experience and a quality product. They have a physical location in the works which should be ready this summer, and have starting working with other barbers and beauticians in Omaha to give them an opportunity to hone their skills.

Some of you may remember Kaitlyn from the Lincoln Office. She’s back in full swing working in the Kearney Office now as a licensed Customer Service Representative for P&C Department. She will be working closely with Brian and Cherry. Here’s a little bit about how her life has changed the past couple of years:

|
My husband, Seth, and I recently moved to Lexington, NE from Lincoln, NE. Both of our family’s farm, so we were spending a lot of time traveling spring through fall to help on the weekends. We’ve wanted to move back for several years and finally had the opportunity to. We got married October 16th, 2021! We have a young German Shepard named Beaux. He is such a great dog and if you ask my husband, I baby him a little too much, but I don’t think so, it’s just extra lovies. Seth and I enjoy spending time with our families, traveling, and going to concerts. We have a love for music, so it’s always interesting to figure out who we want to see next. We like a mix of country, gospel, reggae, and rock. By far, the best show was the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2016.
I am an avid hunter, and until last year, Seth had never been hunting. I hunt for white tail deer, turkey, and pheasant. I love spending time outdoors, in the summer, so you can usually find me camping or at the lake. I enjoy water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding and tubing. I placed my son Eliot for open adoption when he was born, in 2015. I travel to Elkhorn often to visit him and his adoptive parents. We all love to camp together, as well. Eliot is learning the art of baseball, and I can’t wait to see how he improved since last year. We enjoy building forts together, watching his fish, and playing outside whenever possible.
Professionally, I went Southeast Community College, in Lincoln, NE, and graduated in 2018. When graduating, I received an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree, majoring in Business Administration, with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. I’ve worked for several insurance companies throughout the years, and even worked for the Stonebridge Lincoln office with Tim Kulhanek, as his Administrative Assistant, for a short period before obtaining my Property & Casualty License in 2019. I obtained my Life/Health, Accident, Sickness & Annuities License in 2021 and I’ve really enjoyed learning about the industry and educating consumers on different products. In the future, I would like to obtain my Series 7 and 66 licenses and dabble in the finance industry. I’m not sure where my career will end up, but I can say I’m so happy be back with the Stonebridge family!
