Interior Design and Feng Shui to improve the flow of positive energy
in your home or workplace, and better support you and your family.
"What you have in your home creates your story.
I want you to surround yourself with what you love-
to be able to express yourself and live in comfort."

Greetings!

Do you have ideas percolating in your mind, just waiting to jump out? The best way to release them is to physically put them in the world. I recently co-led a workshop where we did just that by creating vision boards!

The workshop, which I co-mentored with Nancy Meyer through her WeMentor Mini LAB, focused on helping each student gain clarity on their potential in life. I was completely amazed by everyone’s boards—the students have a much better chance to manifest their desires through this visual medium.

And this was no ordinary vision board class—Nancy and I infused Feng Shui principles into the board-building process. To learn more about Nancy and WeMentor, c heck out our podcast conversation .

I look forward to teaching more vision board classes; the next one will be in the fall. If you’re looking for a class this spring, I will be teaching Decorating the "Fun” Shui Way on May 11th (details below), which will help you learn design principles to make your home support you and your life goals.

Right now, I’m working on several interior design projects. I look forward to sharing some before and after photos in future newsletters and on my blog. And if your home space is no longer serving you, I can design a space that reflects YOU. Contact me for a design consultation.

Warmest Regards,
Julie Ann

There is a wealth of information available online about designing and buying items for your home. Social media sites such as Pinterest, Houzz, Instagram, and others provide beautiful household images and give people ideas on how they can decorate and furnish their own home. Websites like Wayfair can ship you these accessories and, in some cases, window treatments and furniture. In the news recently, Mattress Firm announced they are closing stores because the trend has shifted from buying in the store to buying online with in-home guarantees of satisfaction.

While buying furnishings for your home online definitely serves a purpose, I want you to be aware that there are many situations in which this do-it-yourself process doesn’t work out so well.
When you move into a new space, it can take time to get it to feel like home. To make it feel like your space. But with a little repurposing, we can help speed that process along.
