2016 Requiem
Cabernet Sauvignon
Columbia Valley, Washington
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From the moment the first drop hits your palate, the structure of this Cabernet is striking - and the fruit is explosive! Look for flavors of black cherry, blackberry, cassis and black plum fruits followed by classic tobacco leaf, cedar, graphite, chocolate and baking spice notes. This bright, full and authentic Cabernet starts out good and, as it breathes, just gets better and better!
Sourced from a quartet of top-tier, biodynamically farmed vineyards - Champoux, Wallula, SeVein and Loess - the 2016 Requiem Cabernet Sauvignon has a very impressive pedigree.
And, it's not just the fruit sourcing that is extravagant. The winemaking team ponied up for a full 24 months in French Oak, 40% of which was new!  We just can't stress enough how blown away we are by the pure deliciousness of this wine.
2016 is the inaugural release of Requiem, and the forward-thinking winemaking team clearly did not spare expense in making sure it would be a knockout.  Completely drinkable right now, especially with an hour splash in a decanter, Requiem has a ton of life ahead of it. Pour it for them blind and the complexity and structure will have your friends picking this as a $35 bottling from Napa!  We really love this stuff.
At $18.99 per bottle, the quality here is simply off the charts. We expect big scores and higher prices in the not too distant future.  Get on board now with a case or two!
2015 Forman
Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley, California
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ric Forman, sole proprietor of his eponymous winery, meticulously controls every part of the winemaking process from start to finish.

He took full advantage of the perfect conditions in 2015 and produced this outstanding, age-worthy Cabernet that Napa Valley lovers are fawning over!

In this impressive 96-point review, Antonio Galloni practically begs you to buy a few bottles...

"The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is dense, pliant and wonderfully expressive. Ric Forman's wines are always on the restrained side, but the 2015 packs a good bit of punch. Sweet red cherry, raspberry, sage, mint, and rose petal overtones all add to the wine's precision and nuance. In 2015, Forman took in fruit from Thorevilos, which he co-manages with David Abreu, but ultimately decided to add that juice to the Cabernet Sauvignon rather than bottle it separately. Dollops of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec round out the blend. This is one of the classiest wines of the vintage. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2040."
- 96 Points, Vinous - Antonio Galloni (3/2018)

With a bit of decanting, the 2015 Forman will put a big smile on your face now, but better to wait at least a few years. This wine will handsomely reward patience. Grab a few bottles and drink over the next 20 years!
