Stored Product Pests

What are they?

Stored product pests can be found in almost any home; they are commonly recognized as beetles. Most do not originate in the home; however, they may be transported from a store or warehouse or can show up when food products such as flour, cereal, or rice are stored for a long period of time. These insects infest these food products and their larvae feed on them as they grow, ruining the products altogether

What We Can Do/Prevention

If you have a perimeter service with us, our normal treatments should target these insects, however there are no guarantees for these specific pests.

The best way to get rid of these insects is to remove their source, and store any loose foods, especially grains or noodles in air-tight containers. If you choose to get an interior treatment from us, we recommend giving the treatment about 2 weeks to work as well as store your products for best results.
