ONE YEAR OF SFYC
One year ago, on May 12, 2020, we posted the first Stories From Your Community: Firefighters from Redwood City Fire Department. Since then, we've had 49 groups participate and over 5,000 views! Thank you for joining us for this series as we meet members of our community and share favorite stories. This week enjoy just a few of our favorites from the last year with this playlist.

Want to see the whole series? Visit our Stories from Your Community page here.
MAY FLOWERS AT THE LIBRARY
May is a great time for flowers and gardening! We have a few services and events for our flower-appreciating community this month.

Join us on May 27 to meet the authors of “Beauty and the Beast: California Wildflowers and Climate Change." Internationally acclaimed conservation photographers Rob Badger and Nita Winter take you behind the scenes of their 27-year journey photographing wildflowers and superblooms throughout California and the West. For more information and too register for this interactive Q&A event, go here.

Have you used our Seed Library? Come to our Curbside Pickup window during open hours to request the current seed offering. Seeds are available at the Downtown Library, Redwood Shores Branch and Schaberg Branch. Not able to come to the library in person? Fill out this form to request specific seeds.
