Standing On The Shoulders of Giants In 2018, Pangani Girls Alumni Association engaged intensely with the girls in their alma mater reaching 1,217 students . The association organised mentorship workshops structured as one-on-one and group sessions targeting different classes. They also organised career talks attracting over 40 speakers from diverse professions. Student Support Program Rolled Out

We rolled out the Student support program being implemented in five universities across Kenya; University of Nairobi (UON) , Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT) , Kenyatta University , United States International University-Africa (USIU) , Strathmore University . The objective of the program is to enhance establishment of strong and sustainable student communities which can support each other. It also aims to prepare students for a smooth transition from school to the world of work and equip them with transferable skills necessary for the future of work. Shule Yangu Alliance Campaign

Future First Kenya remains a committed member of the Shule Yangu Alliance Campaign, a citizen inspired campaign working with the Government, CSOs and Citizens to ensure the titling, protection and ownership of all public primary and secondary school land in Kenya. Last year Future First Kenya partnered with the Secretariat to carry out an Alumni Sensitisation exercise in Machakos County for over 3000 headteachers and principals. A similar exercise was carried out in Ngungani Primary School, Kitui County. This year, The Secretariat in partnership with Future First Kenya intends to scale up the Alumni Campaign to ensure the fencing of 16 schools in the country.
