STORM ADVENTURE RACE

Less than a month!

We are less than a month out to the 2026 Storm Adventure Race! We're excited that over 700 adventurous people have signed up to have their best day on May 23 and May 24. We've got some reminders for you and some info to share about the event.

Still want in?

Want to still be a part of it? Told your friends and they want to join the fun? We've got room for more racers BUT you'll have to bring your own canoe. Our fleet of rental canoes from Algonquin Outfitters is already spoken for. BUT on our registration page, we've linked some other options for sourcing canoes in the area.

Not WHERE, but WHAT:

The exact course is a secret until race morning, but we've prepared schematics for each course so you can see what you'll be doing in what order and the approximate time and distances of each segment. This is to help you plan your gear for the race and are included in the Racer Information Package linked below.

You've got questions?

All the details are under the RACE DETAILS tab on stormrace.ca, including RACER INFORMATION PACKAGE for each event. Included on that race details page is the link for the STORM WAIVER and STORM MEDICAL form. Make your race morning easy for yourselves and race staff and have those filled out with the confirmation email ready to show us at check-in.

Short Course (May 24))

Long Course (May 23)

Advanced Course (May 23)

This should answer most of your questions, but reach out if it doesn't: info@stormrace.ca OR join us on May 7th.

You've got MORE questions?

On Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 pm, we'll be live on our Facebook page for a Q&A session. This is NOT MANDATORY for racers, but for those new to our event, we will provide an overview of the event and this will give you a chance to ask any question you may have. Can't join us live? Drop your questions in the comments and we'll record the session as well.

Make a weekend of it!

One of the reasons we love Albion Hills is the chance to camp and hang out with our adventure racing community. Come out Friday night and get ready to race Saturday. Maybe pitch your tent and race one day and volunteer the other day?

Camping reservations are NOW OPEN:

Albion HIlls Camping Reservations

We're suggesting racers book into the Poplar Circle or Deer Run camping areas for access to the race site. Plus, it'll be fun to be camping around other racers.

Teamwork makes it happen!

Coming for the weekend and only racing one day? Coming to support but not racing? Help out and cheer all the racers on. We're looking for some helpers with morning checkins, transition areas on course, and to welcome teams to the finish line. Please visit our Volunteer Sign Up Form or contact us at info@stormrace.ca

Throwback to our last Albion Hills adventure in 2023!
