It is hard to believe that this we will our final regular season meet! We then begin the Championsip meets on either May 3rd or May 10th. Please see the information below to see which meet your child will attend. All athletes will attend one of these meets based on the childs marks. This week will be the last chance to get their best marks for one of these meet! Remember, Tuesday is the LAST day to turn in your childs academic grade report to be concidered for a medal, I can not accept late forms as they will be ordered Wednesday morning to be done in time for our award picnic May the 18th at West Creek Park, more details will be sent about the awars picnit next week!!

If you have not completed your 6 volunteer hours, please sign up this week! We do not charge a volunteer fee as most teams do, because our parents are so good at helping. Please make our final home meet great by volunteering! I know many of you volunteer every week and we thank you !!

JELLY BELLIES -We are in need of more jelly beans for the last month of practice. We have plenty jolly ranchers!! If you have not brought your 2 bags in please bring them this week. We can give you bags and a scoop to fill them or do it at practice! The kids love this and we do not want to run out !!



Scholastic Award Form

We give out a medal each year to all athletes that maintain a 3.5(B+) or 4.0 (A) grade point average. Please have their teacher fill out the form or attach their report card to this form. All forms are due Tuesday April 22nd. You can email or bring to practice. All forms must be recieved by this day to be concidered for the award. coachelaine@runstorm.org

The following GPA is needed to score points

A or O= 4 points

B or S= 3 points

C= or N =2 points

D = U =1 point

We will adjust this according to the way your school grades.

Monday April 21st, -6:15 pm -7:30 - Sub Gremlin and Gremlin

6:15 - 8:00 pm - All other age groups

Tuesday April 22nd, - 6:45 pm -7:50 - Sub Gremlin and Gremlin

6:45 - 8:30 pm - All other age groups 

Thursday April 24th, - 6:15 pm -7:30 - Sub Gremlin and Gremlin

6:15 - 8:00 pm - All other age groups 

Saturday April 26th Home Meet @ Castaic High School 7:45 - 2:00

Championship meets. All athletes will go to a championship meet on either May 3rd or May 10th. All Sub-Gremlins will go to the April May 3rd meet, and all non qualifiers! All atheltes with a qualifing(Q) mark, or in the top 8 of the Western League will go to the May 10th race.

Athlete's that are close to the (Q) time may be invited to go to the May 10th meet. Athletes will not be allowed to attend both of those meets. These are such fun meets because the top 6 in each age group will be awarded a medal at the meets.

Who Goes to the Open Championship May 3rd? - All athletes that did not hit a qualifying time AND all Sub- Gremlins, this is the final meet for those athletes! 

Who goes to the Western League Championship meet May 10th?- All qualified athletes, those who have a Q next to their name in the results, and those who are invited from the top 8 of the Western League standings, you can find these results on our 2025 Track records page Coaches will be verifying in the next few days with those athletes. I Will be available before and after practice to answer your questions.

The Individual Events Championship (I.E.C.) May 17th

Who goes to the The Individual Events Championship (I.E.C.) meet? - Those May 10th athletes that are top 9 (12 for distance events) between the 2 Leagues at May 10th meet.
