Wow, what a great Championship meet we had on Saturday! So many great races and medals! We also had the following Western Open League record fall from Storm:

Sub - Gremlin Girl - Fiamma Sacramone - Long Jump 7'3 3/4

Bantam Girl - Charlotte Miller -Javelin record, 26'5"

Junior Girls 4x100 relay - Faith Romo, Jurnee Dilard, Oliva De Paula , Kera Manathunga, 57.51

Intermediate girl -Julia Sullivan - 400 record from 1998 with a time of 112.24,

Intermediate girls -4x100 relay team Of Talayah Williams,Julia Towers,Taylor Shaw, and Julia Sullivan, also broke the Open meet record with a time of 57.49!!

Congrats to all who competed!

Now on to the League Championship for those who qualified, we will race at Canyon High Saturday May 10th! Practice for this week will be for those athletes only!!

We will be in charge of timing and the finish line. We also need Staging escorts, and Relay zone judges. We have one time slot for gate monitoring at 1:30-2:30. Please sign up when the link goes out on Wednesday to make this a special day for the atheltes!

Coaches Donation - I am sure you see how hard our Caoches work, and the endless time thay give to all the athletes. We would like to take them out to a nive appreciation dinner. TEAM AWARDS PICNIC - We will have our awards picnic Sunday May 18th at West Creek Park in Valencia for all athleletes . The City will not allow us to cook this year so we will be providing pizza and sub sandwiches and we will be asking each family to bring either side dishes, deserts, snacks, and drinks. We will send out a sign up for this next week! Flyer is on the calendar.

League Championship meet. All athletes that were were invited athletes will go to the championship meet on  May 10th.  Meets is at Canyon High School

The Individual Events Championship (I.E.C.) May 17th

Who goes to the The Individual Events Championship (I.E.C.) meet? - Those May 10th athletes that are top 9 (12 for distance events) between the 2 Leagues on May 10th meet.

Please pick up Ribbons and Pictures this week at practice from the boxes on the table! Due to the rain we did not have the boxes out on Thursday, so all open athletes can come and pick them up or we will have them at the club pinic on May 18yj.
