Amenities Closed Until Further Notice
Due to Hurricane Idalia, all amenities at Babcock Ranch will remain closed until further notice. This includes Lake Timber Lodge, Cypress Lodge, Founder's Square, the Splash Pad, and the Edgewater pool.
A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Southwest Florida. As a precaution, our staff has secured and stored outdoor furniture and fixtures from the common areas, including Founder's Square, Lake Timber Lodge, and Cypress Lodge.
The storm is expected to make landfall in Florida late Tuesday and early Wednesday morning. We will provide additional information as needed. As the storm approaches, residents are asked to secure potential outdoor projectiles such as furniture, ornaments, and trampolines.
Need help? This is a great time to meet your neighbors if you haven't yet had the opportunity. As we saw with Hurricane Ian, the silver lining in adverse weather is the sense of community we gain as we watch out for each other.

Community Impacts
Between rain bands, the HOA will attempt to clear debris from the street, including clogged storm drains. We would like to ask residents to do the same to keep the stormwater management system operable. Any debris removed from inlets should be placed in your garages so it does not reclog your drains.
Please note that our roadways were designed to retain and pool water during periods of extremely heavy rain. This is standard and part of the design of our water management system to preserve structures. We recognize that lake levels will continue to rise. Depending on the amount of rain we receive, rain may reach landscaped areas in your yard. We are not able to quickly regulate lake levels.
