Thank you for supporting Science for our Coast!
Our mission is to drive environmental sustainability and stewardship through scientific research, education, and advocacy.
Pontchartrain Conservancy is hosting Storm Sweep presented by Entergy as a month designated to clean up the Pontchartrain Basin this May and to promote education about storm preparedness. Hurricane season is on the way, and we intend to be prepared! Together we'll remove trash and debris so that our catch basins can adequately route stormwater out of our neighborhoods and our waterways can be litter-free!
Visit our website to register and choose the cleanup location that best fits your schedule or participate in multiple cleanups. You can also sign up as an individual or family and pick your own location to clean up in May. Be on the lookout for fun and educational opportunities with our partners throughout May!

GiveNOLA Day is May 4th!
GiveNOLA Day, an initiative of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a one-day online giving event on May 4th, 2021. This year, we want to raise $35,000 to fund vital education, research, and advocacy that protects our coast and estuary.

Your gift will go twice as far this year because our Captain's Circle donors are matching the first $18,000 raised. The Greater New Orleans Foundation's Lagniappe Fund will also stretch your support even further.

A message from our Executive Director
We have lots happening in May and hope you can find a way to be involved with us! Our month-long cleanup Storm Sweep will help us all prepare for a storm season that is predicted to busy! We hope you can join us as a volunteer to help end litter and spread awareness on hurricane preparations.

Also happening on May 4th is GiveNola Day! We have a goal to raise $35,000 this year and with your help, I believe we can do it! The contributions you make on GiveNola Day make the work we do in our communities possible.
Thanks for your continuous support!
