Special Places in Dunbarton
Watercolors by Alison R. Vallieres

View the watercolors on our website's virtual art wall HERE

Alison has lived in Dunbarton since she was five years old. All of the watercolors are scenes and landmarks in Dunbarton. Many of the landmarks are now gone.
Alison is the President of the Dunbarton Historical Society, serves on the Zoning and Planning Board, and spearheaded the group who produced the Town's Bicentennial Quilt, pictured above.
Alison's watercolors are not for sale. If you have any questions, you may contact Alison directly.
Holiday Cards for Veterans
Please help us send a little love and cheer to some very special senior veterans (mostly from the WWII, Korean and Vietnam era). Please make a very simple card that shows warmth, support and appreciation at home. You may drop your cards off at the library by December 12th.
Thank you.

Cards will be mailed to
NH Veterans' Home in Tilton,
the VA in Manchester,
and the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke, MA
Dunbarton Operation Secret Elf
Operation Secret Elf is a long standing DCC effort to help families in Dunbarton during a financially challenging year. Assistance is given to the families that choose to participate in the form of a gift for their child. These gifts have been secured! This year the library is teaming up with DCC to offer an opportunity to other residents who would like to contribute in a small, but meaningful way. We are looking specifically for Gibson's Book Store gift cards.
If you are interested in helping, gift cards should be returned to the library by December 11, 2020.
For more information, please call the library. Thanks!
