"Whoever wants to become great among you
must become the servant of all."
Margaret and her husband recently moved to Southern Nevada and in no way expected they would suddenly find themselves in need of help.
“I was referred to Lutheran Social Services to receive assistance and I have appreciated how I have been treated as a person, not a number.” As a former social services worker, Margaret knows all too well the importance of treating our neighbors with dignity and respect. Their family is very grateful for a hand up in their time of need receiving help from the pantry and the nutrition services department.
Together, as donors, partners, staff, volunteers, church members and advocates, we serve hundreds of families like Margaret's every week. We are grateful to you for your prayers and support in this mission!
