The Claremont Senior Center will have a Turkey Dinner open to public on Saturday, March 23 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. The cost is $10 per person with children under the age of 10 $6.00.

The Baby Quilt Raffle will be drawn at this dinner at 6:00 PM. Raffle tickets are $1.00 per ticket and 6 tickets for $5.00.

The workshop, presented by Ann Hargraves & Susan Davidson, is an “Accounting 101” overview and will teach you a straightforward way to keep “score” with respect to the financial performance and condition of your business. You will learn the fundamentals of financial statements, how they are prepared, and how they help you plan for the future. The venue provides networking with presenters, participants and SCORE mentors and in addition to learning new content and practices, the workshops also offer an opportunity to interact with other local small business owners and prospective business owners.

Valley Regional Healthcare has received a grant that will fund two recovery coaches in their Emergency Department (through The Center for Recovery Resources) to assist individuals with addiction, substance misuse, and related behavioral health needs through peer support/coaching, resource navigation, and community connections, offering the patient a warm hand-off from the Emergency Department to a local service/services, which will help guide them on their recovery path. These include, but are not limited to TLC Family Resource Center, West Central Behavioral Health, NH Works (and other programs that support workforce development), Dartmouth-Hitchcock, and Better Life Partners, which The Center for Recovery Resources recently began working with to offer recovery-focused MAT services in The Center.
