WAYS TO MAKE MORE MONEY AT HOME HELPERS WITHOUT WORKING MORE HOURS:

Here are some examples of how to increase your income at Home Helpers by using the bonus incentives that are offered to you.

  • You work 25 hours a week. You clock in and out on time, make requests for time off 2 weeks in advance, you have perfect attendance, and there are no client complaints. This means in a 2 week pay period you just added $50.00 more to your paycheck.

  • An extra dollar an hour = $1300.00 more per year

(If you want this extra income and have questions, please let the office

know and we can help you.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • In 1 year, you refer 2 new caregivers. They are in active standing for

90 days and you are actively employed. There are no client complaints.

  • You will receive an extra $500.00 that year

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • In 1 year, you refer 1 new client to Home Helpers Home Care and they

are actively scheduled for 90 days.

  • You will receive an extra $200.00 that year

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • If in 1 year, you have 3 clients specifically compliment you by name,

  • You will receive an additional $60.00 that year

If you took advantage of these bonus incentives, using the above

examples, you would generate an additional $2,060.00 income and

you would not need to work any additional hours in order to achieve this.

RECOGNIZING AND HONORING THE

DIVERSITY OF OUR CAREGIVERS

With each newsletter sent to our employees, Home Helpers will be sharing a little of the culture, history, and inner beauty of one of our caregivers. If you would like to teach us about your country, a special hobby or tradition, please let the scheduler know. We want to share your story so that we can all learn about your experiences, and we can grow, appreciate, and be united in our mutual goals of respect, kindness, and making the world a better place to live.

Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa that was governed by the British. In 1961 it became independent. Freetown is the capital of Sierra Leone. It was named Freetown, because any slave who entered here was considered a free person. There are about 15 main tribes in Sierra Leone. The country is well known for its gold and diamonds, as well as for its beautiful beaches. There are 2 climates in Sierra Leone: the rainy season and the dry season.

The dress above is a Creole outfit called Print.

It is from the Creole Tribe.

Here is a recipe that is well known in Sierra Leone. It was submitted by Emerica Curtis, who is pictured above.

Rice Kanya

Ingredients:

3 cups of rice flour

1 cup of brown sugar

3 cups of natural peanut butter

Place the flour in a pot and use a spatula to mix it until it becomes golden

brown. Add this ingredient into your food processor along with the brown

sugar and peanut butter. Blend this mixture until it becomes golden

brown and sticky. (The food processor will be going slow when this

becomes sticky, and it is done.) You can serve it now, by rolling it into

several balls, or putting it into a pan and cutting it into several squares.

Enjoy!
