December

As we welcome the last month of the year, I want to remind you that we get the students outside everyday unless the temp (with windchill) is below 20 degrees. Please make sure you are sending students to school with their outdoor gear. Labeling what you send in helps us to reunite the item with the owner if it gets misplaced.

First Trimester closed this week. Teachers will be finalizing grades next week and we will email out the report cards by 12/13, if not on the 12th. If you need a paper copy, please contact Heather in the office.

Advisory Fun

Classroom Spotlight

Trimester winners.

This Week in 8th Grade

8th grade is having their second trimester Social Studies class elections. Students can run for President of their Social Studies class and help make practices in the classroom and guide their peers in class with their leadership. They learn about the electoral college and how voting works in the United States. They even use an interactive electoral map to determine who is the winner.

Parent Teacher Organization

Got extra gift bags & tissue paper? The PTO is looking for donations to wrap student purchases at the Holiday Shopping Spree in December. There is a box in the main entrance to drop off at school.

Thanks in advance for your donations!
