From President Frank H. Wu:

I would like to extend my gratitude to all those in the college community who participated in the seven town halls that took place from May 10 through May 17. Over 1,000 registrations were received for the 12 strategic plan town halls that were held this past fall and spring. Your insight and comments will play an important role in shaping the final version of the plan.

A presentation and video about the Strategic Plan have been posted at We encourage you to review them. Written comments on the plan are welcome through the close of business tomorrow, Friday, May 21. Please submit them via email to Rachél Fester, Interim Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, at or strategic plan consultant Anna Pond at

It is inspiring to me to see the commitment that so many of you have shown in regard to the development of this plan. I am eager to see it come to fruition over the next five years as we continue to build a great future for the Queens College community, on behalf of all New Yorkers.
