A message from John Foster, senior vice president, Insurance Operations:

Given the evolving agency landscape, it is important that we adapt our resources to ensure we continue to excel at our vision for building enduring relationships with independent agents by serving their long-term best interests and helping them to continue to thrive.

To best do this, I am pleased to announce the following management changes effective Jan. 1, 2024:
Andrew Potalivo will assume a new role of vice president, Distribution
Andrew's substantial agency experience, distribution trends expertise and industry connections uniquely qualify him to develop and manage our strategy and relationships with national agencies, networks and banks to drive profitability and growth. Andy will maintain his current home office staff and provide critical functional support to our regional offices, including (but not limited to) premium planning, agency compensation, training, licensing and reporting.
With Andy’s new focus, Randy Mancini will become vice president, Field Operations, and assume the responsibility for our customer and agency direct-facing roles, including our regional branch offices (underwriting, sales, and agency management), as well as premium audit and loss control functions. Randy will continue to oversee the commercial processing function. Having held a number of important roles during his tenure including vice president, Commercial Lines and leading the Harrisburg Office, Randy is well-positioned to lead field operations, delivering on our mission and vision to agencies and policyholders.
Nicki Noel is being promoted to vice president, Commercial Lines. Nicki has successfully held a number of roles with increasing responsibility including Harrisburg Office commercial underwriting manager and most recently director, Home Office Commercial Lines Underwriting. In her new role, Nicki will assume responsibility for all home office commercial underwriting, product management and business systems support functions. In addition, she will lead important corporate initiatives including Policy Administration System (PAS) production support, new state entry, and commercial lines products expansion. In addition, Mark Fitzgerald, vice president, Surety & Fidelity, will now report to Nicki.
I am confident that these changes will contribute to our company’s continued success, address a rapidly evolving marketplace and help us achieve our strategic goals over the coming years.

Please join me in congratulating Andy, Randy and Nicki on their new roles.
