“Sometimes called ‘the Jimi Hendrix of the violin,’ Joe Deninzon wields his seven-string electric instrument like a prog samurai. Impeccably played progressive rock music by a solid core of players assisted by an impressive array of guest artists.”

MORE ABOUT THE MUSIC

Led by Joe Deninzon (violinist/vocalist/rhythm guitarist for band Kansas), Stratospheerius released their acclaimed album, “Impostor!” in October of 2024.

The first single and video, “Outrage Olympics,” is a scathing commentary on the dystopian present and cancel culture on all sides of the spectrum.

The instrumental “Voodoo Vortex Part I” pays homage to the electric violin legends of the seventies (Jean Luc Ponty, Jerry Goodman, and Eddie Jobson).

The album "Impostor!" features many guest artists, including Rachel Flowers, Randy McStine (Porcupine Tree), Chloe Lowery (Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Fernando Perdomo (Marshall Crenshaw, Echo in the Canyon), Michael Sadler (Saga).

MUSIC REVIEWS

-Jose Antonio Marmoi (Sea of Tranquility)

"A diverse and inspired collection of original songs. Accept no impostors, Stratospheerius are the real deal."

-Prog Nick (The Prog Report)

“This album is more than just another good Prog album.

It is a veritable classical gas.”
