July 20-21
Watermain construction from Smithtown Road to Alexander Lane is scheduled to continue. If you work from home or need to leave throughout the day during these operations, you may be asked to park your vehicle outside of the day’s working area while crews are onsite. Construction staff will continue to help coordinate this with you. Please utilize the Cathcart Drive detour or utilize alternate routes accordingly. A temporary trail detour is planned to be constructed around the regional trail crossing, prior to the work commencing.
Strawberry Lane storm sewer construction will continue near the intersection of Peach Circle and Strawberry Lane. From this intersection, the storm sewer installation will continue south. Similar to watermain construction, the roadway in the working area will be closed to vehicle traffic. The construction crew plans to provide vehicle access, when possible, for residents living in the Peach Circle neighborhood during the process. Private residential contractors will be required to keep equipment out of the roadway and construction area if they are scheduled to be working on your home. Construction staff will help coordinate with residents on a day-to-day basis for staging vehicles so that they are accessible during the day.
Temporary Water Outage (Alexander Lane) on July 20

Please note that travel will be prohibited on Strawberry Lane around the Alexander Lane intersection. Construction Staff will be advising impacted residents prior to the work. Vehicle staging will be required for those impacted by this process.
