Remainder of July 26th - 28th: Storm sewer construction from Peach Circle to Alexander Lane is scheduled to continue. If you work from home or need to leave throughout the day during these operations, you may be asked to park your vehicle outside of the day’s working area while crews are onsite. Construction staff will continue to help coordinate this with you. Please utilize the Cathcart Drive detour or utilize alternate routes accordingly.
Strawberry Court and the remainder of Strawberry Lane south of Alexander Lane will be turned to gravel on Thursday, July 27th. Parking along the street will not be permitted while the reclamation machine is onsite to grind down the existing pavement. The construction crew plans to provide vehicle access for residents living in the Strawberry Court neighborhood as well as the south end of Strawberry Lane during the process. Private residential contractors will be required to keep equipment out of the roadway and construction area if they are scheduled to be working on your home.
Driveway removals for the remainder of the project south of Alexander Lane will begin on Thursday, July 27th. Please be patient with construction vehicles when traveling in the neighborhood.
July 31st - August 4th: Storm sewer construction will begin from the Regional Trail area and continue south towards Shorewood Oaks Drive. The resident project representatives will be coming around to help coordinate vehicle staging, if necessary, on a day by-day basis.
If you experience an internet outage, please report the outage to your provider prior to contacting the project representatives onsite. There is internet access available for any resident with outage at the Shorewood Community and Event Center building near City Hall.
