Stream independent films, documentaries, classic films, Great Courses, world cinema and more.Watch up to 10 films per month. Take up to 3 days to watch each film. Ask a staff member if you need assistance.
Health Care Enrollment Workshops
It's not too late to sign up for health insurance! You've probably heard about a December 15 deadline, but in Washington we have until January 15. Attend one of our January workshops for assistance. Available in multiple locations.

Read or re-read these titles before the movies come out in 2018
Here is a sampling of the books being released as movies in 2018. It's always fun to refresh your memory before seeing the film. Place your holds at www.fvrl.org and let us know what you think of the movies: A Wrinkle in Time, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Fifty Shades Freed, Where'd You Go, Bernadette, The Death Cure and Peter Rabbit.
What's happening around the district
Girls Who Code Club

Free, after-school club for 6-12th grade girls to use computer science to impact their community and join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models. This is a 16-week course, weekly every Wednesday, January 3 - April 18. Must register prior to first session.
January is National Hot Tea Month!

Join us to celebrate National Hot Tea Month with fun, interactive workshops hosted by Sharon Grace Kryger, certified Tea Sommelier. Workshops held at Three Creeks, Ridgefield, and La Center locations.  Registration for each session is required.

Holiday closures
All libraries will be closed on Monday, January 1, for New Year's Day. Vancouver Community Library and The Mall Library Connection will be open regular hours on December 31.
FVRL libraries will also be closed on Monday, January 15, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Many services are available 24/7 at www.fvrl.org.
