Meet our Newest Team Member, Alexis
Last month the State Chamber announced the addition of Intern Delaware under its umbrella, which led to the creation of the program manager position. We are happy to welcome Alexis Williams to the team! She will manage The Partnership's four flagship programs: Intern Delaware, Superstars in EducationDelaware Principal for a Day, and the Delaware Young Professionals Network.


Intern Delaware is dedicated to helping build Delaware’s future workforce by keeping talent in the First State. Intern Delaware partners with companies to coordinate experiences for their summer interns that focus on the benefits of living and working in Delaware. Through a series of educational events, interns will have access to business leaders while learning about the unique aspects of Delaware’s economy and culture.

TRANSFORMING HEALTH CARE
CHRISTIANACARE & HIGHMARK HEALTH ANNOUNCE LANDMARK COLLABORATION

If there is one thing that most Americans can agree on, it’s that our current health care system is too expensive, and for all that cost our population isn’t getting healthier. ChristianaCare and Highmark Health announced a game-changing collaboration that aims to create better health and to make health care more affordable for everyone by taking costs out of the system.

Through a new joint venture company, these two national health care leaders are combining their expertise and capabilities to completely transform health care by creating a new model of value-based care that is continuous and data- and technology-led. This Week in Dover
The General Assembly returned this week from Easter Break. Of note was SB15, an increase in Delaware's minimum wage, which was heard in the House Economic Development Committee on Wednesday.
