Director of Music and the Arts, Community Church of Chesterland
Community Church of Chesterland seeks a part-time Director of Music and the Arts who will work closely with the settled pastor to design and implement a music program that reflects Chesterland UCC’s vision for its present and future. Primary duties include identifying and performing hymns and songs for the weekly Sunday morning spiritual gatherings, leading music, and assisting the pastor in identifying and planning for other opportunities of artistic expression within the weekly spiritual gatherings (ex. dance, painting, poetry, etc.)

Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton, Ohio is seeking a full-time chaplain.
This United Church Homes Life Plan Community provides a spectrum of services for older adults. The chaplain provides the spiritual care programs to meet the needs of the residents, staff and their families. Leadership of the weekly worship service in the lovely chapel, additional worship experiences for those living with dementia, along with pastoral care, programming and small groups, spiritual assessments and participation on the leadership team are all a part of this ministry.
Four Winds Community in Jackson, Ohio is seeking a part-time chaplain: 32 hours/week with benefits. This community provides care for those needing rehab services, long-term nursing care and memory care. The chaplain works together with the leadership team and provides pastoral services with the residents, staff and their families. Spiritual assessments, pastoral care, small group programming and worship experiences are a part of the needs of this community.

Music Director/Pianist (PT), Clague Road UCC, North Olmsted
Hiring a part-time Music Director, CRUCC is a family style congregation that enjoys a variety of music styles, works to coordinate music, art, faith formation into Sunday worship and the life of the church for adults, children, and youth. Responsibilities include planning services with the minister and worship team leader, directing and accompanying chancel choir, bell choir, hymns, and other music throughout the services.
Aside from Sundays, special holiday services occur throughout the year. The position offers flexibility without a set schedule. A general weekly time commitment necessary to meet expectations will be discussed during interviews.

Pathways Theological Fall 2022 Courses | |
The PATHWAYS Theological Education Board of Directors invites all questioning, curious people of faith to join us for our 6-week courses beginning Fall I (mid-August) and Fall II (beginning late September) (see website for details and registration links). It can be very difficult for people to pick up their lives and go to seminary these days, especially if they’re just beginning to sense a call.
