Vermillion UCC Offers Grant Funding
The Vermilion UCCC has created the Sunset Shores Outreach Grant Fund to further the vision and mission of our church in the area of outreach. Grants will be awarded through the Fund guided by the mission and vision of the Vermilion United Church of Christ, Congregational.

Two types of grants are available. Large grants are available for charitable organizations serving others in their communities. Smaller grants are awarded throughout the year depending on needs of individual or organization.

Vaccines at Bethany UCC
Bethany United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls will be offering free Pfizer Covid vaccines administered by Summa Health on Saturday, July 17 and Sunday, July 18. On Saturday, Bethany Kitchen will provide a free drive thru meal for the community along with the vaccines. On Sunday members will be providing a picnic lunch for our neighborhood and Summa will again administer the vaccine. In addition to food there will be music by Plaid Sabbath, activities for children and fellowship with our neighbors. Please see attached flier for details.

Nursery Coordinator, Olmsted Community Church
Olmsted Community Church is seeking a coordinator for the nursery for Sunday services. The two hour time frame includes supervision of the children of the church (birth to pre-k). The ideal candidate would have knowledge of child development, a minimum three years of experience caring for children, successful completion of a criminal background check, infant/child CPR and first aid training, and ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Job Opportunity - Director of Music/Organist, Forest Hill Church, Presbyterian, Cleveland Heights, OH  
We are seeking a Director of Music/Organist who will be responsible for all aspects of the worship music for morning services each Sunday, be the accompanist for worship services, rehearse, direct and accompany choirs for adults, youth and children, and supervise any Ensemble Directors. The Director of Music/Organist reports to the Co-Pastors. This part-time (30 hours per week) exempt salaried position is eligible for benefits.

We are celebrating with a celebration, service and meal

       Heidelberg University, Wickham Great Hall, located in the Campus Center, Tiffin, Ohio.  
                          August 8, 2021     4 PM service followed by a reception outside

Following the service, our family will greet guests outdoors on the Campus Center lawn (Campus Center 220 in case of inclement weather). A meal will also be served on the lawn following the visitation (Hoernemann Refectory in case of inclement weather).


Please note that Heidelberg University continues to follow CDC guidelines with regard to COVID-19. We kindly request that those who are not fully vaccinated continue to observe masking and distancing protocols while on campus for the Celebration of Life ceremony.

Camp is on! The Heartland Conference's Templed Hills Camp is open this summer for youth, families, and adults.
