Do yourself a favor – learn something new! NEOSOM (Northeast Ohio School of Ministry), the dedicated education program of our Association, offers courses throughout the year, beginning every autumn around mid-September. Courses are online, typically structured into eight two-hour sessions per week, and affordable (most cost $100). Courses cover such areas as Bible (coming this fall), theology, ethics (coming this fall), UCC history and polity (offered every fall), and a variety of specialized topics. Watch this space for more information about upcoming courses. And for more information, visit NEOSOM’s website or contact Gene McAfee, dean of NEOSOM, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Camp 2.0 is a place where we can gather during this extraordinary time keeping each other and our families safe while still being together to support one another in our journey of Christian Faith. During this time of physical distancing, we must find ways to be socially, emotionally, and spiritually close. Although it will not be the same as being together at Templed Hills Camp, we believe we can provide some positive Christian camp community connections and growth in this way.
