21 Week Anti-Racism Challenge | Week 6
Are you looking for ways to engage in the work of anti-racism? Are you having trouble finding the time or the right resources? Our 21 Week Challenge is just for you! The 21 Week Challenge is aimed at providing an accessible opportunity for congregational members to better understand systemic racism and to inspire local community engagement. Inspired by similar challenges across the country, this Challenge was developed by the YWCA Greater Cleveland. The Living Water Association is grateful to partner with the YWCA in hosting this Challenge.

Three Opportunities to Celebrate PRIDE with Living Water Association Churches
1. UCC at PRIDE in the CLE – PRIDE RIDE Saturday, September 12th
You must REGISTER with Pride in the CLE to participate. Sign up online by clicking here 
We look forward to welcoming you to the UCC Group at the PRIDE in the CLE – PRIDE RIDE! To be staged with the United Church of Christ Group, you need to indicate this when you register by entering “United Church of Christ” in the field that reads, “Organization Representing”. When guests check-in, they'll be directed to their zone. Leaders from the UCC planning team will have signs to greet you our UCC Group. 

2. VIRTUAL PRIDE IN THE CLE September 25th at 7 PM
The second is our virtual Pride in the CLE event on September 25th at 7pm. this state-of-the-art, high-quality production will include local artists, musicians, local leaders, and more virtually to enjoy and interact with from the comfort of your home.
3. LWA ZOOM AFTER-PARTY October 10th at 2:30 PM
Have some fun socializing with other LGBTQ+ affirming folx in the Living Water Association. In these times it is critical to remember that you are not alone and that together we can find hope.

Kent United Church of Christ is seeking a Financial Administrator to maintain and prepare financial records and reports of the church. This is a part-time (appr. 15 hours/week), salary position requiring understanding of basic accounting principles and accounting software, experience and knowledge of database management systems and good written and oral communication skills. Children and Youth Speak: Your Vote Matters
With the climate crisis and the struggle against inequality, the younger generations have served as today's prophets in provoking a global reckoning of the dire situation faced. As the November 3rd elections approach, children and youth are raising their voices again with a moral urgency as they awaken us to how much is at stake.
