Street sweeping will resume Monday, Feb. 22 with the week 3 route and Tuesday, Feb. 23 with the week 4 route. (See a large street sweeping map here.)
Residents are asked to remove vehicles parked along the street and other obstacles such as low limbs, trash cans, etc., so that the sweeper may complete the route efficiently and effectively.
Residents and businesses are reminded that it is a violation of City ordinance to sweep or blow leaves into the roadways.
Street sweeping is intended to prolong the life of the City’s street and drainage infrastructure by removing dirt, sand and other contaminants from the roadway, and by extension, the City’s storm drainage system.
