Whitman Fire Department Offers Ways to Get Involved in Local Emergency Preparedness
Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Timothy Grenno would like to offer residents tips about getting involved in local emergency preparedness.
There are many important ways residents can get involved in their community's emergency preparedness and disaster response. Well-trained volunteers are invaluable after a disaster as volunteers can handle basic aid, which eases the burden on first responders during critical incidents.
Residents who are interested in joining Whitman's CERT should email Lisa Riley at lriley@whitman-ma.gov. CERT training classes are offered once per year. READ MORE
