Collaboration and Results in Arkansas
The skills of Professional Interpreters in Education are unique and reflect a perfect combination of medical, legal and community interpretation. We are so proud of the State of Arkansas for providing Interpreters in Education with a professional credential recognized by the Department of Education and Arkansas DHS Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education. We look forward to training a new group of bilingual school personnel and contract interpreters in 2019 and in 2020 to join the growing network of Professional Interpreters in Education in their State and the nation. Our English Learner families and school districts deserve to have trained and qualified interpreters and SeSo, Inc is thrilled to be part of that state at a time.
Our IEP/IFSP Bootcamp Series is Back!
Save the Date! Our next IEP/IFSP Bootcamp will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the State of GA! This 8-hour workshop is open to intermediate to advanced-level interpreters currently working in an education setting, and medical or legal freelance interpreters seeking to expand their Special Education terminology, note-taking strategies, and consecutive interpretation skills in the education setting. Registration will open soon and stay tuned as additional dates and locations will be announced!
Training Bilingual Personnel as Cultural Leaders
Professional Interpreters in Education understand the reality of dual roles and oftentimes find themselves in situations where cultural communication must be clarified, before an interpreted message can be heard. We collaborated with school administrators and experienced interpreters to create a skill-building session for interpreters in education, focused on strategies to become a Cultural Leader, foster family involvement and create more welcoming school environments. Please contact for additional information and session dates.
Making a Difference with Our Communication Tools and Glossaries!
“I am finally able to let my new Arabic speaking family know how great their son is doing in my class! Thank you!”

Our Communication Guides for School Front Office Personnel (available in Arabic, Chinese, French, Hindi, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Urdu and Vietnamese), our 100 Bilingual Daily Comments (available in Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese), and our Glossary of Educational Terms , foster the home-school connection and we love when our customers send us their feedback.

Our Glossary will now be available in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, French and Arabic, along with our Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese versions, as we have found this to be a great teaching tool not only for interpreters and translators, but also for our English Learner families seeking to expand their English vocabulary and education lingo. Please visit  for additional information about these communication tools.
Supporting the Professional Development of Medical Interpreters
Twenty years ago, SeSo, Inc’s CEO and Founder, along with a group of dear friends, founded the Medical Interpreters Network of Georgia  aimed at promoting equal access to health care services for English Learners and supporting professional medical interpreters and healthcare providers with resources and information. We are happy to continue supporting the initial mission of the organization and thrilled to be able to donate a MING Fall Forum ticket and 1-year membership to a deserving interpreter. Here’s to the next 20 years, MING!!
